hearing no birdsong
all unmindful days long
our til sounds swan song?
Entitled like baby boomer?
Whining like left waiting dog?
Indignant like gypped consumer?
Fawning like corporate cog?
I’d rather live calmly & cheerful
than elbowing airily sneerful!
