woke up from deep sleep delicious
Each morning embraced beguiled
finding every dawn propitious
Now coming to from sleep shallow
hapless dreams repetitious
Images jumbled & sallow
race in flashbacks pernicious
Now since have gotten old
most mornings leave me cold
