Pretending we’re riding high
on puny our ponies
while not asking ourselves why
how come we’re such phonies!
Might we lack in self awareness
whining about life’s unfairness?
With tender feet rather
off the ground dragging
keeping up our blather
as well our bragging
We gallop gallivanting advocating
with our deprecating mouths agitating
