Lacking all constraint
our generation binged
pillaged in war paint
until all got unhinged
Soon now there ain’t much left
for lives, if lucky, humdrum
Our children left bereft
until too soon they’ll succumb
Blame? Not our fault they weren’t born earlier
did not grow up smarter and burlier!
