A person’s unique essence
amidst human interaction
business views as excrescence
often treated as infraction

But scripting won’t make us sincere
(sincerity needs no script)
puts up but a flimsy veneer
of obsequious prescript

thus leaves our hapless corporate cog
to slog on in soulless workplace bog

+)
-excrescence = something disapproved of as found unnecessary
-prescript = something prescribed
-scripting = here: minute instructions detailing how employees must act
