***%) ‘Film clips’ in the mind, of the restless kind

Catch the mind meander
ambushing, springing
skirting facts & candor
us along-stringing
Mind hatches impudent plots
involve stories oblique
cause & effect tied in knots
unfazed by all critique
Blurry ‘film clips’ squeak crudely
like rusty shears of fear
whirl & creak & clack rudely
through tender feelings tear
While the cold mind races headily
our warm heart keeps beating steadily
