On petulant pursuits binged
our noses stuck in trough
getting totally unhinged
til all pretense falls of?
Tell, is it going haywire
for our poor Human Race
or per God’s plans & desire?
Trembling at what we face
not much time shall elapse
until soon now: Collapse!

trough: prononced ‘troff’
