If we expect Bliss to be achieved

we’re allowing us to be deceived

while contributing less, not more

Ty i rutin sedentär
av fräscha känslor roffade

Rör vi på oss bara smått
samt fyller upp var kind
när äter ofta å gott
svårt att hindra bli trind?

I tålamod tunt
på ett flertal skärmar
kollar mest grunt strunt
där kändisar svärmar

Kliver med möda in i bilen
väl nedsjunkta bakom ratten
kör för sakta i ytterfilen?
Vår färd en alltmer tafatt en

Får undra, jajamän
vart kan det bära hän?

på livets branta, krokiga stig:
Träd försiktigt, lugnt å stilla
så vi kan urskilja slagg från slig

Försök förbli stillsam
bland bullrande berusning
ty när man blir villsam
tynar tillvarons tjusning

För vem vill sej själv försnilla
å egna livet förspilla?

Obstinacy & Aging
leave us two married companions
with our hangups engaging
yelling as if across canyons

Our perpetual dances
slowed by unyielding stances

Our ingrained character flaws
refuse to step aside
so as result or cause
leave us worn, bleary-eyed

With Obstinacy one might attempt engage
while with Aging can merely watch its rampage

Maybe hot dogs look good
given a cursory glance
from where we had first stood
but if looked again, askance:

How & with what are hot dogs made
but poor mistreated animal parts?
The question we evade, dismayed:
How did they end up so cold, our hearts?

But don’t ask, just chomp, don’t tell!
If tastes good, ain’t then all well?

I vind svag, hänger slakt

ej beslutsamt å rakt
men i ömkligt agg

Numera krumryggade
rent av småaktiga
tror vi oss betryggade
när blott dåraktiga

Inte kan vi vänta oss beröm
när gav upp alliansfrihet
när slukades i NATOs malström
valde vi visst ansvarsfrihet

Nation förr oavhängig
kämpande stadigt för världsfred
nu beklämmande klängig
inbillar sej lämnad i fred

how its drizzle used to beguile
But by now it has gone in exile
instead downpours just once a while

Memories longingly linger tender
of the long gone drizzle’s subtle splendor
