re-entering the fast track

filled with energetic passion
our ‘pull by bootstraps’ YANA
in red rebel haircut fashion

Thus plays out the daily drama:
Two Growing Boys and Their Mama!

Though twisted hard on Life’s throttle
he slowed right out of the gate
Stopping to gulp from the bottle
sealed right then & there his fate

When no one left to displease
by faded, jaded gab
long last “Time gentlemen, please!”
forced to settle the tab

Stumbled out in the chilly dark
Nowhere lower to descend
than passing out in Dead End Park
All escapes come to an end

Neighbor’s small dog’s nostrils flared
got me triggered, re-traumatized
with its rice-sized-shaped teeth bared
behooved me getting authorized:

to reclaim my fair share of trauma
indulge my symptoms in high drama!
