when feeling invincible
towards change disinclined
simply not convincible?

Breezily we think self-reliant
when course set obliviously!
Of solidarity defiant
when grabbing lasciviously

But feebly our bodies subsist
when hearts & souls on the sick list

Movements lithely flowing
cheerful their sincerity
Complexion, hope glowing
infused by hilarity

They bring about deep affection
finding foothold on their path
in youth’s but fleeting perfection
shielded so far from Life’s wrath

Viewed from the perch of aging
found so deeply engaging

Relished the smooth ride home from the shop
trip home with steep hills seems just a hop:

Crystal crisp the shifting
Crankset, gears ticking
Handlebars uplifting
No foreign clicking

Tires whirl p.s.i. correct
hum of the well-oiled chain
Seating position perfect
I glide in the arcane

Wheels well spoked
tightly drawn
Pedals stoked
by brash brawn

All this combine to sweetly
boost the ride home most fleetly

With plagiarized platitudes
we’re mangling logic, facts
in aggrandized attitudes
by hasty keyboard acts

Our attention span
closes in flash
like glamor at Cannes
splash after splash

Finding peace of mind won’t become our thing
holding our breath for gadgets to go ‘ting’

All throughout human history
we’re left wholly in the lurch
when it comes to Life’s Mystery
we flounder on endless search

While purposeful language
serves us well in the mundane
it leaves us to languish
when grappling with The Arcane

To debate what may lie Beyond
ain’t that a sure way to despond?

När sist mysigt ‘kafferepigt’?
För bland upplysta skärmar
umgänget numera knepigt
där vi stundligen fjärmar

Inte blott oss två emellan
I påflugenhet febril
tränger sej på mittemellan
nog din eller min mobil!

Således uppstår en trio
eller en kvartett febril
med distraherande brio
om vi båda har mobil

Mobiler å personer
otämjda dess passioner!

Om som ung vi kan tråna
efter vad som är rätt
då får vi chans att gråna
på ett angenämt sätt

Men om ej fört ett redbart liv
hårdhänt vill då bli dommen
Minnen plågar i tjat å kiv
ändlöst i ålderdommen:

Livsavfärdens bankett blir ynklig
på en samvetssolkig duk skrynklig

I’ve arrived at a stage
when finding most ‘news’ canard
of small use at my age
being somewhat a blowhard

What merely simulates
no longer stimulates

The wide world no longer
entices with what’s out there
While pulsating stronger
my heart & mind both right here

Staying calm around home, so far unbarred
while feeling wayward beyond my backyard

-wayward = swayed or prompted by caprice

attempting to act deep
and being squarely callow
the challenge proves too steep?

In Life’s glare I’m waning
while fumbling in bleak twilight
Perhaps only feigning
when I charged hard for Insight?

But who’s not suspended in Life’s Mystery
between Heavenly Bliss and Hell Blistery?

‘blommar’ tusenfallt
i kvävande misär

Vi misbrukar plast
lata å slarviga
bortslängd i all hast
beter oss larviga

Låter oss ej besvära
uppenbarligen tanklösa
med ursäkter vulgära
Vilka fasoner vårdslösa!

Plast ej bara som ogynnsam förpackning
men symbol för samhällelig förflackning!
