This verse presented itself on the occasion of my grandson Mike (21) moving to Amsterdam in Winter of 2020. (He’s since back home in Long Beach, CA).
There was this sunny surfer called Mike
who decided on a Euro hike
Amsterdam folks got elated
that they were the ones so feted
While Winter storms howled across the dyke
