Of my Life’s essential necessaries
ranks among the highest: Lingonberries
when both fridge & shelves boon dry
my neighbor brought a supply
Now its juice runs through my capillaries
Clumsy vague words contrive
in sentences degraded
tenuously arrive
on uncaring ears jaded
Flailing their course in nose dive
a bumpy, fleeting fling
while conspiring to connive
melt like snowflakes in Spring
Some utterance merely noise
lacking both substance & poise
We’ve all seen the Gadgeteer
always engaged in high gear
focused on what’s new
with plenty ado
Helping Merchants profiteer
Nog passar den oss propagandan
när sådan som vi vill höra
Låter oss sitta på varandan
med ursäkt att inget göra
Krävs förstås oss att förevisa
i uppenhjärtad känslosamhet
att modigt stå upp för rättvisa
samt handfast visa hjälpsamhet
Vi låter oss slapphänt berövas av vår mänsklighet
när vi lever fegt i fantasi, ej i verklighet

these days! Here’s the thing:
No need, say, peer in paper tray
to check if it’s depleted
In these monitored days, no way
surely would be conceited
Only if heard metallic dinging
has the Fat Tech Lady stopped singing

Beyond blessing should it betide
not stretched or restrained our step
Harmony within one’s own stride
never to march in lockstep

Keeping one’s own pace
in non-chase by grace
By numeric years I’m adult
although still the must-be-cuddled child
Proud member of the me-first cult
if slightest ‘trigger’ shall get me riled
If with mothers-milk innate
tied with unbreakable rigor
then I can only conflate
with inexhaustible vigor
Can’t really pull myself together
being as victim a bellwether
